The World digital currency Conference 2023, one of the world's most welcoming nations for digital currencies, will take place in Switzerland from January 13 to 15, hosting one of Europe's most intriguing blockchain conferences.
The WCC2023 is held in Davos right before the annual World Economic Forum, which is appropriate. Delegates to both meetings will debate the social and economic effects of technology, particularly the move to Web3.
The WCC2023 is specifically designed to close the gap between the traditional world of business and finance (TradFi) and the digital currency sector. Additionally, it intends to speed up the development of reliable, quick, and secure financial systems and the widespread acceptance of cryptographic assets. It will promote networking and cooperation between TradFi and DeFi businesses and link Web3 businesses with conventional IT businesses.
The event couldn't have come at a better time given that several TradFi institutions are turning to blockchain technology. Who would have thought that the conservative Nasdaq or Deutsche Bank would be developing capacities for digital assets?
America's oldest bank, BNY Mellon, with $43 trillion in assets under management, stated Robin Vince, CEO, "The move is driven by clients requesting institutional-grade solutions in the digital currency industry." Early in 2022, a poll of significant institutional asset managers, owners, and hedge funds revealed that 91% of them were considering investing in tokenized assets.
Leaders in business, blockchain enthusiasts, and key players in the digital currency space will gather in Zurich to talk about the future of digital assets, DeFi, CeFi, TradFi, GameFi, NFTs, the Metaverse, Web3, DAOs, international payments, tokenization and fractional ownership, regulation, and more.
Some of the largest traditional banks and their digital asset divisions have accepted the offer to get to know those working in the digital currency industry, connect with blockchain creators, developers, and enthusiasts in general, and grow their confidence in Web3's potential.
There will be industry giants including Huobi, Sandbox, BitMEX, Sygnum, Animoca Brands, Coinbase, IBM, and more. In the upcoming weeks, many more will join.
